A mysterious stone structure, which was accidentally discovered in 2003 and known as Adam’s Calendar, is hidden in the hills and only a few people know about it.

The building is thought to be the oldest man-made building. Johan Heine, a pilot from South Africa, made the discovery. His aircraft lost control as it was traveling over the Mpumalanga region, a hilly location in eastern South Africa.
He chose to make an emergency landing to rescue his aircraft, but he regrettably crashed into a mountainside. After the crash, Johan got out of the plane and was miraculously fine and unharmed. Outside, he came across three monolithic dolomite stones, which were massive and weighed about 5 metric tons (5.5 US tons).
These stones were sticking out of the ground, and next to them was a large circle made of stones.
It was believed that if no collapse had occurred, then the site would have gone undiscovered because the site is located in an extremely isolated area and the paths leading to it are broken and full of dust. On the other hand, Heine’s discovery was quite remarkable. The megalithic site was called “Adam’s Calendar” because it appeared to be an extremely ancient stone calendar.
Heine’s discovery appeared to be the oldest edifice ever built by humans. The building is thought to be 300,000 years old, which is much older than any other indication of human civilization that has been found.
The experts claim that if the building is that old, it would require the assistance of a highly developed society, which eventually proves that the building was constructed by ancient extraterrestrials.
The whole site looks like a calendar because it is built with stones that are laid according to astronomical alignments. The site consists of an outer circle of stones. The diameter of the circle is about 30 meters. Also, inside the circle, there are several monoliths arranged in a complicated way.
Near the site, there are other similar structures and stone circles that are laid out in complementary alignments and connected by a series of canals. According to scientists and researchers, these canals not only lead to Adam’s Calendar but also connect to many other ancient agricultural ruins and terraces in the landscape.
In the middle of the circle, two stones stand upright and also have carvings on them. Most of the building materials, including the stones, seem to have been brought from a distant place. Only the site’s aerial perspective depicts the calendar’s shape.
The building materials employed at the site and the obvious necessity for airborne observation of the site strongly suggest that ancient aliens, not humans, created it. Now the question arises, why is the site being built in this remote area?
The answer to the above question could be that the location where the Adams calendar was built is rich in gold resources. Even the richest gold mine today, i.e., the Sheba Gold Mine, is located in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Possibly the fabricator would have found these resources useful.
Even after so many centuries, this calendar still works perfectly and is used by people to keep track of the time of day and year. Time is determined by the shadow of the setting sun, as the taller monolith casts the sun’s shadow over the center of the flat stone next to it.
Johan Heine’s accidental discovery was ignored by the archaeological community for six years. Initially, they showed very little interest. The on-site probe didn’t begin until 2009, though.
Heine had already done his research before the on-site investigation started. From his research, he learned that the stones were placed in the four cardinal directions, just like at Stonehenge, to represent the solstices and equinoxes.
The erosion of the rocks and the lichens that grew around them helped geologists estimate the age of Adam’s calendar. According to the researchers, the structure could be 75,000, 200,000, or even 300,000 years old.
Advanced technologies have helped researchers identify and measure sound frequencies with the acoustic properties that the Earth’s rock formations beneath them acquire. From research, it was also discovered that these frequencies originate under the stone circle, leading to the amazing theory that these stones conduct electricity, but somehow, we don’t understand.
The sound frequencies of the earth in those stones created the resonant shape of the flowers. This also represents a type of sacred geometry in the medium. According to Michael Tellinger, the site was built by an ancient, extinct civilization and is also believed to be the oldest site in the world.
With all these discoveries, many believe that these assumptions are wrong. Some scientists believe that the stone circle is nothing more than an animal enclosure and that the site is no more than 400 years old.
The complexity and size of the site belie the fact that it was built for animal shelters. The lack of thorough historical records for Africa also adds to the misunderstanding around the calendar.
The general public still needs to comprehend a lot about Adam’s calendar, and they should keep in mind that scientists and historians are working nonstop to solve the puzzles surrounding this site.
There are many mysteries to solve.
Why is the site so complex if it’s just a cattle enclosure? If the calendar is 300,000 years old, then who built it because it was only 15,000 years before Homo sapiens existed?
The subject of ongoing inquiry is the civilization that constructed the site. Researchers will be able to learn more about how that civilization once lived and flourished in the area if they can identify the culture that erected it.
